ReEnergise are the architects and enablers of decarbonisation programmes for schools. We guide schools through a step-by-step risk reduction process, to avoid them wasting money on expensive mistakes. It starts with the estate decarbonisation plan. We’re independent and unbiased: we just want the right solution for each school.

The ReEnergise role is best described as ‘the architects and enablers of school estate decarbonisation plans (EDP) and programmes’.

EDPs are a new concept in the Education Sector. They are a vital planning tool for any school aspiring to become net-zero in due course. An EDP describes how a school can cease its reliance on fossil fuels for all its power, heat and transport needs. This is the key challenge in becoming net-zero. The EDP identifies the required projects, along with the associated business cases and management, programming, resourcing and budgeting requirements.

Estate decarbonisation planning for schools is core business for ReEnergise. Over the past 12 months we have been developing EDPs for over 50 schools, as well as managing the major net-zero estate conversion projects arising from plans drafted in previous years.
